The Family floater insurance from ICICI Lombard has been designed to cover your entire family (husband, wife and upto 2 children) under 1 plan where all the covered members can enjoy the benefit of floater cover upto Sum Insured without any individual limits. Further, there are no sub-limits on room-rent, doctor fees or hospital charges for any disease except cataract. People upto the age of 60 yrs can be covered under Family floater plan while those above 60 yrs need to cover themselves under the Individual plan of the Insurer. The Insurer allows online purchase without any medical tests upto age 45, provided the proposer has a clean proposal form. Those above 45 yrs need to undergo medical tests at one of the designated diagnostic centres of the Insurer. This policy also provides 30 days pre-hospitalization and 60 days post-hospitalization cover for all related expenses. The policy can be renewed upto 70 yrs of age.
